These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AstroHabit mobile application ("App"), operated by AstroHabit ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use AstroHabit. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AstroHabit grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in abusive behaviour.
AstroHabit offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans through the Apple App Store:

All billing, payments, and refunds are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We do not handle payment information directly. Prices may vary by region as determined by Apple's pricing tiers. We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice.
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.
Subscription billing period: Subscription periods follow Apple's calendar month system and are processed exclusively by Apple. A "monthly" subscription renews on the same calendar date each month (e.g. a subscription started on 12 January renews on 12 February). If you cancel your subscription, you retain full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. Access is not terminated immediately upon cancellation.
How cancellation works: When you cancel your subscription via App Store Settings, our system records your subscription expiry date. Your account tier remains unchanged until that date. Once the period ends, Apple notifies us and your account automatically reverts to the Free tier. You do not need to do anything — the downgrade is handled automatically.
Downgrade to Free tier: When your paid subscription expires or is not renewed, your account automatically reverts to the Free tier. You will retain all your data (tasks, health logs, transactions, etc.) but the data export feature and additional AI actions (reduced from 10 to 1 per day) will no longer be accessible until you re-subscribe.
AstroHabit uses Google Gemini AI to power the following features. Free users receive 1 AI action per day; Basic subscribers receive 10 AI actions per day.
AI Transparency (EU AI Act): All AI-generated content within AstroHabit is produced by automated machine learning models (Google Gemini) and has not been reviewed or verified by a human. Do not rely on it as professional advice.
No warranty on AI output originality or legality: AstroHabit makes no representation or warranty that AI-generated outputs are original, free from third-party intellectual property rights, or legally permissible in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for how you use any AI-generated content. AI outputs may occasionally reproduce content that resembles existing material — do not rely on AI outputs as original works.
We do not train AI on your data: AstroHabit does not use your personal data, food photos, prompts, or any content you submit to AI features for the purpose of training, fine-tuning, or improving AI models. Your inputs are processed in real-time by Google Gemini and are not retained or used beyond generating your response.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice or refund.
All content, features, design, trademarks, logos, and technology within the App are owned by AstroHabit or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You retain ownership of personal data and content you create within the App (tasks, entries, logs). You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the App's services to you.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. By downloading the App from the Apple App Store, you agree to both these Terms and Apple's EULA. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's App Store terms, Apple's terms shall prevail with respect to App Store matters.
Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support, warranty, or liability for the App. Apple has no responsibility for addressing any claims relating to the App or your use of it.
The App integrates with Firebase, RevenueCat, and Google Gemini API, each subject to their own terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $5.00 USD, whichever is greater.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
We do not warrant that the App will be available at all times, that data will not be lost, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete. Service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, Firebase outages, or circumstances beyond our control.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AstroHabit and its owners, officers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (c) your infringement of any third-party rights; (d) any content you submit or actions you take within the App; or (e) any health, dietary, fitness, or financial decisions you make based on AI-generated content within the App, including but not limited to food calorie estimates, workout plans, and meal suggestions.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any AI-generated suggestion before acting on it, and that AstroHabit is not responsible for the consequences of any personal decision you make based on App content.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we are not liable for data loss resulting from Firebase service outages, device failure, account deletion, or circumstances beyond our control. We strongly recommend keeping your own records of important financial and health data. AstroHabit does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability.
You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page → Delete Account. Once initiated, your login credentials are immediately and permanently removed and you will no longer be able to sign in to the App.
Self-service restore (within 7 days): Sign up again with the same email address and go to Settings → Restore Previous Account. The app will detect your previous account and offer to restore all your data. No restore code is required.
After 7 days: All account data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. No recovery is possible, as described in our Privacy Policy. Note: anonymised crash reports collected via Firebase Crashlytics may be retained for up to 90 days for app stability analysis — these reports contain no personal identifiers and cannot be used to identify or recover your account.
Important — Subscriptions are not automatically cancelled on account deletion. Deleting your AstroHabit account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Apple will continue to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel separately. You must cancel via: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AstroHabit. We strongly recommend cancelling your subscription before deleting your account.
What happens if you forget to cancel and your 7-day restore window expires: If your account data has been permanently deleted (after 7 days) and your Apple subscription is still active, Apple will continue to charge you. To stop charges, cancel the subscription via iPhone Settings → Subscriptions → AstroHabit. If you create a new AstroHabit account after your data has been permanently deleted, it will be treated as a completely new account — no previous data, tasks, or history can be recovered. Your subscription can be restored to the new account by tapping "Restore Purchases" on the Plans & Pricing screen.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability.
Re-registration ban: If your account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms, you are permanently prohibited from registering a new account, whether under your own name, a different name, or on behalf of a third party. Attempting to circumvent a termination by creating a new account may result in further action including legal remedies.
No refund on termination for abuse: If your account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, internet service disruptions, third-party service outages (Firebase, Apple, Google), unavailability or degradation of connected AI models (Google Gemini), or other force majeure events.
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification or email where reasonably possible. Continued use of the App after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
AstroHabit reserves the right to transfer, sell, or assign the App, its codebase, user accounts, and all associated data to a third party as part of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or change of ownership. In such an event:
Subscriptions on transfer: Your in-app subscription is a direct agreement between you and Apple through the App Store. A transfer of ownership of AstroHabit does not affect your Apple billing — Apple will continue to charge your payment method until you cancel. The new owner may honour, modify, or discontinue subscription features, pricing, or plans. Any material changes to subscription terms will be communicated as part of the transfer notice. If you do not accept the new subscription terms, you must cancel your subscription via iPhone Settings → Subscriptions before the changes take effect to avoid continued charges.
No liability for new owner's actions: AstroHabit is not responsible for any actions, policies, or decisions made by a new owner after a transfer of ownership. Our liability ceases at the point of transfer.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Step 1 — Informal Resolution (Required): Before initiating any formal dispute process, you must first contact AstroHabit at support@astrohabit.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Both parties agree to negotiate in good faith for a minimum of 30 days from the date of notice. Many disputes can be resolved quickly this way.
Step 2 — Binding Arbitration: If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, you agree that any and all disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms, the App, or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court. Arbitration shall be conducted by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under its Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AND ASTROHABIT AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, the entire arbitration agreement in this section shall be null and void.
No Class-Wide Arbitration: All disputes must be arbitrated on an individual basis only. You may not arbitrate on behalf of a class, group, or the general public. Consolidation of individual arbitrations into a single proceeding is not permitted without the express written consent of AstroHabit.
Waiver of Jury Trial: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BOTH YOU AND ASTROHABIT WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Time Limit to File Claims: ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THESE TERMS MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER SUCH CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION AROSE. CLAIMS NOT FILED WITHIN THIS PERIOD ARE PERMANENTLY BARRED, REGARDLESS OF ANY STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS TO THE CONTRARY.
Exceptions: The following disputes are excluded from binding arbitration and may be brought before the courts of Malaysia: (a) disputes relating to the enforcement or validity of AstroHabit's intellectual property rights; (b) claims for emergency injunctive or equitable relief to prevent immediate harm.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
